A Night in Casablanca; New Photos of Jackson

Last night Mandy and I went to a went to a fundraiser for the restoration of Brownwood's historic Lyric Theater. The theme was "A Night in Casablanca." The event was set up to be like Rick's Cafe Americana, complete with Moroccan food, a big band, gaming tables, and a cigar bar. It was a really fun night, and quite a well done event for humble little Brownwood. The big news of the night was that someone donated a half million dollars to the project, which should get the theater well on its way. It will be great to enjoy it when it is complete.

I had the good fortune to have won the most chips at the gaming area (playing Texas Hold-'em), and so we walked away with the big door prize for the night, which included dinner for two at The Turtle, Brownwood's only gourmet restaurant.

I have posted a lot of new photos of Jackson from over the past couple weeks in the WebAlbum. Please take a look here: http://picasaweb.google.com/dryanlocker/TwoMonthsToFourMonths

Jackson is up to 16 pounds now. He is quite chunky, but has the cutest pinchable cheeks you've ever seen.
